4 Pedestrians and 3 Passengers injured in yet another Violent Collision

Crown Heights, Brooklyn – At around 4:10 Thursday afternoon an SUV and a sedan collided with great force, lost control, and plowed into a sidewalk full of pedestrians. The incident took place in the intersection of Lefferts Ave and Schenectady Ave and the vehicles were a BMW X5 SUV driven by a woman with one passenger and a Toyota Corolla driven by a man with two passengers.

Four pedestrians were hit by the SUV which ended up mangled in the side of the building, one pinned underneath. Bystanders got together and managed to get the victim out from underneath by the time EMS and FDNY arrived on scene and was immediately transported to a local hospital.

Others sustained varying degrees of injuries. Both the Driver and passenger in the SUV were transported to local hospitals for checkups and observation, while one passenger from the sedan was transported while complaining of chest pain.

This is the same intersection where just two days earlier there was another violent collision between a pickup truck and a sedan, thankfully in that incident there were no pedestrians injuries and there were no serious injuries reported among the drivers. To read that story Click Here.

    And, of course everyone is curious about the people involved in the accident as well – drivers, passengers, and pedestrians, but got to figure a polite way to ask…

    I heard the bang of the cars crashing, it was so loud! There were no Yidden involved in this one, but it could have very well been.

    Second incident in just two days is quite scary, same exact kind of accident!

    3) Two bad accidents in two days.

    Maybe the name should be changed?
