CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A teenage cyclist was struck by a car and seriously injured Wednesday evening. The incident took place on Brooklyn Avenue between Eastern Parkway and Union Street, where a young black teen was hit by an SUV and was knocked unconscious.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Two cars collided in an intersection yesterday, Tuesday evening, and injured five. The incident took place at around 7:00pm in the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Franklin Avenue, where a minivan with 4 passengers collided with a sedan, injuring all of the vehicles occupants.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A pedestrian was stuck by a mini-van on Empire Boulevard this afternoon. Bystanders blamed construction work in the area. Hatzalah treated the pedestrian and transported him to Kings County Hospital.

Elderly Driver Suffers Heart Attack and Crashes
A driver crashed her car in to an electricity pole at the intersection of Maple Street and Kingston Avenue Monday evening after suffering a heart attack while at the wheel. The driver, an elderly black woman, was driving down Maple when for no apparent reason crashed directly into the pole and a relatively slow speed.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Members of a Jewish family were injured in a wild crash with a police van last night. The incident took place at around 10:00pm at the intersection of Carroll Street and New York Avenue where according to eyewitnesses a police van blew through the red light and collided with the van.
