Israel Defense Force soldiers rested a bit, grabbed a bite to eat, and mustered their strength for the battles ahead.
When they returned to the front, they carried with them letters written by people all over the world and hand-delivered by teams of Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries.

Israeli Mayor Visits Crown Heights
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Thursday morning, the mayor of Afula, a city in the North of Israel, Mr. Avi Elkabetz visited Crown Heights, just before catching his flight back to Israel. While in Crown Heights the Mr. Elkabetz visited the Rebbe’s room, toured the Jewish Children’s Museum, met with Rabbi’s at OK Kosher and then visited the Ohel.

The imposters pretend to be workers or contractors of the DEP.
Officials say the fakes usually travel in pairs and claim they need to check the pipes or collect money for overdue water bills.

Estrin was among those who led a community memorial and solidarity gathering for victims of the Mumbai terrorist attacks. The event at the Chabad Center of Raleigh paid tribute to the more than 170 people who died in the attacks.

Yaldei Hashluchim of all ages memorized Tanya in preparation for the Yom Tov and called in to record it on our Super Phone. They were rewarded with points to be redeemed for prizes. It was a smashing success!
