BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — Earlier today four judges of Second Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York ruled in favor of Agudas Chasidei Chabad and Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, Inc. following Congregation Chabad Lubavitch’s (Gaboim) appeal.
This ruling grants complete and total control to Aguch and Merkos over the premises of 770 and 784-788 Eastern Parkway, and the Gaboim have no claim. This ruling affirms the 2007 ruling of Judge Ira B. Harkavy, as we have reported.

Accused, but far from convicted, Sholom was incarcerated as if he had committed crimes against humanity. Reading the reports of clergy who visited him through a plexiglass window, one wonders how our government could punish a man only accused of white-collar, with a choke collar.
This Yud Shevat, thousands of Yaldei Hashluchim and their families gathered together to celebrate the Yom Tov at an international Web Rally, organized by the staff of Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim and the Shluchim Online School.

Bochurim from around the world came together in Crown Heights to mark Yud Shvat. The main and most anticipated event is the central Farbrengen which takes place each year in Beis Rivkah, Campus Chomesh in the Rosa Hall with thousands in participation.

Introduction for Yud Shvat (the Tenth day of the Hebrew month of Shvat)
1. Yud Shvat commemorates the passing of the Previous Rebbe, Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson , in the year 1950.
Yud Shvat also celebrates when our Rebbe, Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson , assumed the mantle of leadership exactly one year after the passing of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
2. Some basic information about the Previous Rebbe:
The Previous Rebbe, Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, was born in the year 1880 in Lubavitch, Belarus.
At the age of fifteen he was appointed as the personal secretary of the fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, his father, Rebbe Shalom DovBer.
