But none of the bidders asked for the same package of equipment and assets, attorney Dan Childers said at the bankruptcy auction for Agriprocessors, Inc. Bidders are now meeting in groups to revise their proposals.

GAITHERSBURG, MD [CHI] — Ten years ago Chabad of Upper Montgomery County, MD was planning the construction of it’s new building, and the director of Chabad, an artistic series of the 12 Tribes of Israel was included in the planning. After much hard work the building was completed and dedicated in 2002.

There is a great deal of precedent in Jewish law for rabbis to issue edicts against monopolies or other situations which are deemed spiritually reckless.
