Over five hundred participated in celebrating the grand Sefer Torah Dedication today, Sunday, May 23, 2010, welcoming a new Comm-Unity Sefer Torah which was started in Israel, and concluded at the Town of Oyster Bay Chabad Headquarters, in Long Island.

Fake Census Bureau Reps Stage Home Invasion

The police are seeking two suspects in connection with a home invasion and robbery at gun point in Crown Heights. The incident took place on Friday morning at around 8:30 in the Ebbets Field housing project, where one suspect gained access to the apartment by posing as a representative for the census bureau, and together they pushed their way in at gunpoint stole cash and jewelry.

GREECE — Chabad representative to Salonica said he refuses to become intimidated after vandals desecrated the city’s Jewish cemetery, spraying anti-Semitic graffiti on headstones and the cemetery’s walls on Friday.
