The following mindboggling incident, involving the saintly Chafetz Chaim, is related in the name of Rabbi Berel Wein:
Two people have become embroiled in an obsessive argument. The ugly dispute grew so out of control that it consumed their very lives and affairs, yet there was no end in sight, even after the sudden death of some of the quarreling partners’ children R’L.
Upon learning of the mysterious deaths, the Chafetz Chaim saw fit to personally intercede. He is said to have engaged one of the partner’s pleadingly: “Do you not see how this is harming your children! Don't you think it is time to stop?”
The following is the answer that the man is purported to have given: “I will bury all of them, but I am going to win.”

CROWN HEIGHTS — After much bickering over how to withdraw the new Vaad’s Messira from court, Rabbi Avraham Rosenberg put the issue to rest in his most recent ruling. He instructed the Osdoba camp to accept the stipulation as means to end the court action, and they must sign it immediately. A copy of the document was forwarded to CrownHeights.info showing the Osdoba camp immediate compliance with the ruling.

Once the list of candidates was finalized, residents of the community were given the opportunity to challenge any of the candidates based on a set of criteria’s. Among them, a candidate must be religious and keep torah and mitzvos.
Two challenges were posed against candidates Chanina Sperlin and Eli Poltorak, on the Halachic grounds. Which more specifically cite that they both participated and perpetrated a Messira on Jews which directly resulted in their arrest and prosecution.
