The last three lines of a new Torah Scroll written in Pleasanton for the Chabad of the Tri-Valley will be added by members of the congregation along with a scribe at 1:30 p.m. today at the Pleasanton Senior Center with a dedication of the work to take place at 2:30 p.m. with a grand procession.

Larry King to Host Chabad’s 30th-Annual Telethon

The special 30th-anniversary Chabad “To Life” Telethon will air live from Hollywood, Calif., this weekend, bringing together host Larry King and dozens of other celebrities and performers in support of Chabad-Lubavitch of the West Coast’s numerous educational and nonsectarian social service programs.
