Shliach Joins Nassau County Panel on Domestic Violence

On Oct 1, 2010, Rabbi Anchelle Perl, director of Chabad of Mineola and the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education, was appointed by the Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano, to join a distinguished panel of individuals representing health and human services, education, law enforcement and the judiciary to review the problems of family and domestic violence in Nassau County.

Kinus Hashluchim Banquet Moves to a New Location

Chabad Center in Ho Chi Minh Moves to Larger Facility

On Sunday, Chabad of Ho Chi Minh moved to a new building double the size of its previous location in one of the city’s busiest areas. The new move makes room for the growing number of Jews drawn to Vietnam’s attractive economic opportunities and alluring beaches, to participate in Chabad’s activities.

Kilauea, HI — A huge simcha (celebration) was held at Papa‘a Bay Ranch on Wednesday.

The celebration marked the arrival and blessing of the first orthodox torah scroll made in Israel specially for Chabad of Kaua‘i, members said.
