CHESTNUT HILL, MA [CHI] — Supporters of Chabad of Chestnut Hill gathered to mark its 10th anniversary of successful activities. Over 300 filled the Mishkan Tefila Banquet Hall this past Sunday for an evening of dining, dancing and entertainment.

A group of volunteers from a Florida church made their way to New York where they joined up with a local Crown Heights church, and together they are doing outreach work in the neighborhood. Throughout the afternoon Friday the group did arts and crafts with children and played sports with them.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A 15 year old black teen was beaten and robbed Thursday afternoon while walking on Eastern Parkway. After the incident the teen made his way to the police command center on Kingston and reported the incident.
Bnos Menachem first grade students made an exciting presentation in honor of the special occasion of their Chumash party. The highlight of the event was when every student received her own Chumash with her name engraved on the cover.
