15-Year-Old Beaten and Robbed on Eastern Parkway
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A 15 year old black teen was beaten and robbed Thursday afternoon while walking on Eastern Parkway. After the incident the teen made his way to the police command center on Kingston and reported the incident.
The victim described his attackers as a pair of black males who beat him up on the corner of Eastern Parkway and New York Avenue, and threw him to the ground. It is unclear if they managed to take anything from him.

I’m not at all surprised that the victim wasn’t Jewish. The Black people living in Brooklyn know very well not to attack a Jew as it would cause a more serious police response than if the same attack had occurred against a member of the Black community.

Thank you so much for your comments on this matter. We should be concerned about everybody no matter what the race is. And to be perfectly honest with you, anyone who isn’t concerned about other groups of people and only concerned about Jews should remember one thing: not enough people were concerned about us (Jews) during the Holocaust which is why we lost 6 million of our people. You all remember the 6 million I’m sure. The Nazi’s and others didn’t see the Jews as people and didn’t care about them. So, for us to do the same things to blacks or any other group of people is disgraceful!!

Just because he’s black doesn’t mean he’s not Jewish. This mistake happens all too often that people just assume this, and its wrong and a sorry display of ahavas yisroel. also it really doesn’t matter whether he is jewish or not. people are people and this is just sad. when people start caring and helping one another and realizing what’s going on within our community and outside our community, that’s when the world will be moshiach ready. its this selfish not respecting others type of attitude that really hurts the world. anyways, ny really has to clean up its act.
