This past Motzai Shabbos Kodesh, a hugely successful Purim bash was held at the Bais Menachem shul in Miami Beach. Attendance went far beyond expectations as over 250 people in total were present at different points throughout the evening.

WILKES-BARRE, PA — Costumed revelers were out in force on Sunday afternoon at the Woodlands Inn & Resort in Plains Township. It wasn’t Halloween, of course, but a celebration of the Jewish holiday known as Purim, put on by The Parent-Teacher Association at the United Hebrew Institute in Kingston.

Three members of the Zablo Beis Din have ruled that new arguments not previously addressed in the existing Psak may be brought before a new Beis Din.
In the Shuls of the Rabbeim of the many Chassidusim they mark the Purim Tish with an amusing show, with the Rebbes and their Chassidim in attendance. At the Tish of one of the branches of Satmar Chassidim they choose to display a show with particularly bad taste, with one of the Chassidim getting up – before the Rebbe – imitating and mocking the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Over A Year in the Making, Mosaic Goes Up!
A mosaic made up of hand painted tiles went up off Kingston Avenue today, marking the culmination of a yearlong project! The mosaic is the collective work of children getting involved in raising awareness for Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights.
In yet another twist, a third Beis Din just weighed in on the Rabbanite dispute in Crown Heights at the request of the Vaad Hakohol chairman Zaki Tamir, and his ruling states that a second Beis Din has no right to mix in. This ruling would seemingly clear the way for Rabbi Yosef Braun to take up his position on the Crown Heights Beis Din.

The Elusive Pursuit of Spirituality – the “I” Un-capitalized
Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, a student of the great Maggid of Mezritch, once knocked on the Maggid’s door to ask a Talmudic question that perplexed him.
“Who is it?” Asked the Maggid.
“It is I,” Reb Shneur Zalman responded.
“Come in, Zalmanu,” the Maggid said, recognizing the voice. After satisfactorily resolving R’ Shneur Zalman’s question, the Maggid unexpectedly said, “Good-bye, Zalmanu. Have a good journey.”
