Chabad Rabbis to Conduct Seders in 58 Countries

Thousands of Israelis attend the Chabad public seder in Kathmandu, Napal

[JTA] — Some 650 rabbis from the Chabad-Lubavitch movement will conduct communal Passover seders in 58 countries. The “Roving Rabbis,” as the young rabbis and rabbinical students are known, will conduct some of the world’s largest seders in Katmandu, Nepal and Cusco, Peru.

Kollel Tours Park Slope Mikvah

Rabbi Yosef Heller, head of the Rebbe’s Kollel in Crown Heights, recently took over thirty young Rabbis to Park Slope for a stimulating tour, and a hands-on visit to a Mikvah in Park Slope that is currently being constructed.

Just one hour ago a bus of Bochurim traveling on Merkos Shlichus to Ukraine left 770. After a short stop at the Ohel they went to catch their flight at JFK. Over 650 Bochurim are traveling worldwide to make Sedarim coordinated by the Merkos Shlichus office.

Darchai Menachem Goes Biking

On Monday, the Darchai Menachem boys of levels of 3, 4, and 5 took full advantage of the first truly beautiful day of spring with a bike trip to Central Park. The trip was awarded to the students who reached an average score of 100 via the Yeshiva-wide point system that monitors each child’s behavioral and academic progress on a weekly basis.

Beginning now, 1:00pm, a truck is unloading many skids with fresh Apples, Grapefruits, Onions and Potatos which is being distributed for free for all those who want. The produce is being distributed on East New York Avenue between Kingston and Brooklyn. There is no need to be on any lists, just come and take.
