Senate Majority Leader Lights Menorah with Chabad
WASHINGTON, DC [CHI] — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada welcomed West Coast Chabad’s Rabbi Chaim Nochum Cunin and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Cunin for a pre-Chanukah celebration in the Lyndon B. Johnson Room of the United States Capitol. The Senator joined Chabad in a symbolic lighting of the center “Shamash” candle on the Menorah.

Three CH Shuls Learn, Farbreng Together for 19 Kislev
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Three Crown Heights Shuls got together in honor of Yud Tes Kislev and together they learned Tanya, attended a Shiur and later farbrenged into the night. The program was Hosted by Oihel Nosson who invited Beis Shmuel and Cong. Ahavas Yisroel.
The Flame of Geulah at Cheder at the Ohel
Starting with a delicious seuda, Cheder at the Ohel students and teachers had a very lively Farbrengen. Led by Rabbi Mendy Levin (Australia), Rabbi Leibel Paris and Rabbi Naftoli Charytan the Cheder boys chanted the 12 peskukim with chayos along with nigunim and a lively benching.
