The Lubavitch community in Miami Beach got together last night for a Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen at the Jewish Learning Center on 41st St. Attending were Rabbi Avrohom Korf, Head Shliach to Florida, who gave the opening address; Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedola of Greater Miami; Rabbi Pinchas Weberman who made a ‘Siyum HaShas;’ and Guest Speaker Rabbi Yossi Groner, Head Shliach to the Carolinas, who gave the keynote address.

TLP Launches Innovative Chavrusa Study Curriculum
Monday night, some 20 people gathered for an innovative Torah study session. Between bites of Sushi, their excited voices filled the room as they took turns learning. Known as Chavrusa Sushi, the program brings in young professionals living in Crown Heights for a series of one-on-one, chavrusa, learning sessions.
