Shimmy Weinbaum Farbrengs with Miami Schoolkids

This past Yud Kislev, the students of the Lubavitch Educational Center in Miami were treated to something very special.

In anticipation of another “live Tzivos Hashem web rally,” the students sat patiently in their seats waiting for the screen to turn on. All of the sudden the announcement came, “The live online rally isn’t good enough, lets welcome Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum.”

The students burst into applause and cheers as a very familiar face took the stage and addressed the excited students. Rabbi Weinbaum, who puts his heart and soul in Chayolei Tzivos Hashem, discussed at great length how the Rebbe stressed the importance of enrolling and advancing in Tzivos Hashem. Listening to him share his many stories—both personal and those by which he was inspired, the students sat mesmerized for close to an hour.

Two separate assemblies were made—one for boys and one for girls—and in both Rabbi Weinbaum showed great patience and poise, giving the children much attention. His most notable remarks came when Rabbi Weinbaum continued to congratulate Lubavitch Educaitonal Center for being one of the top four Tzivos Hashem Army bases in the world in the past 4 years, and for most of them time Lubavitch Educational Center was #1. He encouraged the students to continue to strive to be the best they can be.

Boys in grades, 4, 5 and 6, were later treated to personal farbregnens with Rabbi Weinbaum, as he shared additional divrei torah, and moving stories.

Lubavitch Educational Center would like to extend their sincerest thanks to Rabbi Weinbaum for spending the Yom Tov of Yud Kislev with the students.
