Last Wednesday the Talmidim Hashluchim to Toras Emes departed to their post in Jerusalem. This year marks a centennial of Shlichus to the Yeshivah, with the first group being sent by the Rebbe Rashab who founded the Yeshiva in 5672 – 1912.

Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel OBM

Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel, head of the famed Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem and member of the Torah Council of Sages of Degel HaTorah, passed away early Tuesday morning at the age of 68. He apparently suffered a heart attack.

But the couple got a new experience this past August when they became restaurateurs, opening up Gostijo, Greece’s only kosher restaurant.
