Blog: A Poem to My Rebbe

by Ana Nimas

Rabbi Dan Martzbach, OBM

The Otniel settlement near Chevron mourns the tragic death of Rabbi Dan Martzbach, killed by IDF fire. R’ Dan was mistakenly taken for a terrorist, driving without headlights and not responding to soldiers’ call to come to a stop. Rabbi Martzbach, 55 years old, was a beloved figure in Chevron, and an avid participant in the farbrengens and Chassidus shiurim at the local Chabad House run by Shliach Rabbi Yosef Dahan. He was also a participant at the shiurei Tanya taught by Rabbi Kalman Druk for many years.
