Square to Be Named ‘Kikar Chabad’

Shturem

Sixteen squares in the city of Eilat will receive names, and one of them will be named Chabad Square (Kikar Chabad). The square will honor the wonderful work of the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Eilat, who are famous for their dedication to the spiritual and material welfare of the eilat residents and tourists.

The Eilat Council doesn’t name streets after individuals. Kikar Chabad is located at the Sderot Argaman and Derech Yotam Junction. The signs at each new square will be illuminated, and include a short explanation of the name chosen for the square.

Of course they must mean the most active family in Elat the Eisenbach family.

They have done the most in Elat in the last 20 years. Witness the fact that the Board of Education insisted that Leah Eisenbach be in charge of the Chabad school there.

Shimon’s many accomplishments include the building of the Bais Chabad there. His peulos in Shachmone are famous.

Keep us the great work as we are proud of you!
