Los Angeles Mitzvah Tank Parade First in 16 Years
Last Tuesday a few LA bochrim sat down, having just returned from their yeshivas abroad for Pesach break. Together they decided to make a mitzvah tank parade in their hometown. It would to be the first mitzvah tank parade in over 16 years to hit the streets of Los Angeles.
Mitzvah Tank Slapped with $115 Ticket Before Parade
The 71st precinct managed to reach a new low yesterday: just as the Mitzva Take Parade was getting ready to set off, one police officer – who was assigned to watch the tanks – found the time to offer his own birthday gift to Rebbe: an expensive parking ticket.
Thursday: Erev Pesach Puppet Show For Kids
Lubavitcher Yeshiva and the Small Wonder Puppet Theater are hosting their annual pre-Pesach puppet show for children at 1:00pm on Thursday in Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Crown Street. All are welcome.

Alternate Side Parking Suspended Thursday, Friday
Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations will be suspended on Thurday, April 5th, and Friday, April 6th. All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.

Jewish Community OK in Aftermath of Texas Tornado
While parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth area remain under a tornado watch until 8 PM CDT, the Jewish community of Dallas seems to have fared well despite two confirmed tornadoes which caused massive damage with winds in excess of sixty five miles per hour and sightings of hailstones the size of baseballs.
