Mitzvah Tank Slapped with $115 Ticket Before Parade

The 71st precinct managed to reach a new low yesterday: just as the Mitzva Take Parade was getting ready to set off, one police officer – who was assigned to watch the tanks – found the time to offer his own birthday gift to Rebbe: an expensive parking ticket.

The fine was issued to the tank for being too close to the fire hydrant – which it was, but instead of mentioning it to the driver – who was right near the vehicle – he simply slapped the Mitzvah Tank with the summons.

In its face, the ticket issued by Officer Montos is fraught with mistakes, which will hopefully render it useless and unenforceable.

@Farmer and Jewish Dude, very tough saying that sitting behind a computer screen, maybe you would like to say it to the officers face, COWARDS
All the Haredi including in Israel need their own little Island so they can be left alone and act like savages. You want to live in this country you abide by all its laws, you WORK, yes a 4 letter word and stop scamming the gov’t’s both here and in Israel bunch of leaches. and you serve in the IDF

  • really just a guy

i am tired of ur anti-pd BIAS u probably won’t even post this whatever but its low of you to even have an issue with this officer. he was parked way too close to the hydrant which is stupid and illegal. you failed to even take a photo of how close as i can only imagine.

you people are stupid. did this story not start with

“ The 71st precinct managed to reach a new low yesterday: just as the Mitzva Take Parade was getting ready to set off, one police officer – who was assigned to watch the tanks – found the time to offer his own birthday gift to Rebbe: an expensive parking ticket.”

please note the one line listed here (who was assigned to watch the tanks )
his job was to watch and protect the “tank” or “tanks” not to be giving it/them tickets.!!!
Try reading a story, before saying stupid things.

  • STOP BEING APOLOGETIC

to all the anti -anti cops, don’t give me this garbage. i live on the block, and unlike the parade which is organized and all the cops gotta do is tell the tank office not to block the pumps. on every labor day cars aren’t just near the pumps they actually block them entirely. NOT A SINGLE SUMMONS IS ISSUED. THESES COPS ARE A BUNCH OF ANTI SEMITES. OR AT LEAST MOST OF THEM.
