St. Martin (AKA St. Maarten) is a Caribbean island divided in two: Half of it belongs to the French and the other to the Dutch. Rabbi Eli Hecht Found Not Guilty in Spanish Court

Rabbi Eli Hecht, a Tzedaka fundraiser from Kfar Chabad, Israel who was arrested in Spain on charges of drug trafficking, was aqquited of all charges in a Madrid court today. Rabbi Hecht will return home to his family after the completion of the paperwork process.

Study: Israeli Jews Becoming More Religious

Israeli Jews are becoming more religious, according to a study published Thursday by the Israel Democracy Institute in conjunction with the Avi Chai Foundation. The survey, entitled “A Portrait of Israeli Jews: Beliefs, Observance, and Values of Israeli Jews,” examined levels of religiosity of Israeli Jews in comparison with levels of the past twenty years.
