On April 18, 2012, Yisrael Hirsch, a leader of the extremist faction of Neturei Karta spoke at a function to honor Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the northern branch of the Israel Islamic Association and an outspoken enemy of Israel, one who has been imprisoned in the past for his pro-Hamas activities. Hirsch repeatedly refers to Jerusalem as 'Al-Quds, and to G-d as 'Allah;' He calls for the liberation of Palestine from the hands of the 'Zionists,' and yells at the end of his speech 'Allah Akbar' three times.

Organization Marks 26 Years Since Chernobyl Disaster

In Azerbaijan to tout his country’s ties with the predominantly-Muslim former Soviet republic, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman toured the Ohr Avner Chabad day school in the capital of Baku, meeting with various Jewish organizations one day after sitting down with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
