Community leaders from Chabad realized that many students in their yeshiva system were not planning on continuing and obtaining smicha and would rather choose a career. There was a need to develop a framework which would allow them to earn the skills to make a respectable parnassah and raise families. Thus, the JTVS program at Bramson ORT College was created.
