Rabbis Hope to Inspire South Dakota Jews
Two young rabbis will visit South Dakota next week. Their goal is to visit the smaller Jewish communities around the state, increasing awareness of and passion for that faith.

With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Michoel Mogilevsky, OBM, of Toronto, Canada, at the age of 63, after battling a terminal illness for several months. He is survived by his wife, Margalite, and their seven children: Faigy Vidal (Houston, TX), Yisroel (Crown Heights), Rafi (Israel), Levi, Avi, Sara and Rivka.

Jewish Girl to Be Baptized Despite Mother’s Wishes
A ten-year-old child in Essex, UK has been given permission by a judge to convert to Christianity against her Jewish mother’s wishes. Local Shliach Rabbi Odom Brandman argued before the court that such a move would be “disturbing, unnatural and unfair to the child,” to no avail.

CGI Toronto Begins Inaugural Summer with a Bang
Campers and staff got off the bus amazed by the sight that met their eyes. A brand new shul and dining room, pristine grounds, stunning scenery, and a vast lake so crisp it can make one thirsty. They were soon to learn though, that the fine accommodations were only the beginning. A magnificent program was awaiting them, with fun filled activities and exciting trips.
