Upstate Accident Requires Helicopter Evacuation
An accident on the New York State Throughway this morning was captured by one of our readers returning from spending Shabbos in the Catskills. The accident, involving a motorcycle, required emergency ‘Medevac’ helicopter evacuation of the victim and caused a heavy backup of traffic on the northbound lane of the highway in Orange County, NY.

3 Palestinians Arrested for Poisoning Jewish Family
Police arrested three Palestinians for allegedly poisoning a family in Ra’anana for nationalistic reasons, it was revealed Sunday after the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court lifted a media blackout on the case.

Bolivian Court Denies Bail for Jacob Ostreicher
A Bolivian court denied bail Thursday morning to Jacob Ostreicher, a Borough Park, Brooklyn resident who has been incarcerated without formal charges for more than a year. The bail hearing lasted nine grueling hours and was spread over two days while Jacob’s mother, a Holocaust survivor, sat through the entire process in the Bolivian courtroom along with her daughter, Jacob’s sister, both weeping uncontrollably.
