For the fifth year in a row, a delegation of over 100 members of the Moscow Jewish community visited Crown Heights to spend Shabbos Slichos in the Rebbe’s courtyard.
The second grade class of Lubavitcher Yeshiva-Crown St. visited the sofer, in honor of the month of Elul – when it’s customary to bring your Tefilin and Mezuzos in for checking. The trip was part of the Yeshiva’s new ‘hands-on learning’ initiative.
About 800 people paid tribute to Chabad Jewish Center of Monroe Township, New Jersey, and their directors, Rabbi Eliezer and Chanie Zaklikovsky, with a packed house show by Broadway musical sensation Jake Ehrenreich. Just in time for Rosh Hashana, the Jewish community of Dusseldorf, Germany welcomed a brand new Sefer Torah to their synagogue, led by Shliach to the city Rabbi Chaim Barkahan.

On Monday evening, a meeting was held with the attendance of several Lubavitcher Askanim and Baalei Batim, with the stated purpose of getting people more involved in the Hachnosas Orchim activities of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Ha’olami.

But high above the grand synagogue where the faithful will gather this Sunday are the sometimes cramped, always bustling offices of Chabad.org, where elite corps of rabbi-programmers have built the world’s largest religious website — only to painstakingly rebuild it from the transistors out.
Binghamton University hosted a special event to remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks. The 10th annual Mitzvah Marathon was held outside the University Union, hosted by the Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life and in conjunction with Hillel at Binghamton.
