A rocket launched by Palestinian militants toward Israel makes its way from the northern Gaza Strip, seen from the Israeli-Gaza Border, southern Israel, Nov. 15, 2012.
Two rockets launched from the Gaza Strip today landed in Rishon Letzion, some 7 miles south of Tel Aviv. No causalties were reported in those rocket attacks, by far the farthest strikes by Hamas in two days of fighting. Rishon Letzion is considered a sister city to Tel Aviv.
Update: Residents of Kfar Chabad are reporting that warning sirens have gone off in town. Kfar Chabad is located roughly two miles from Rishon Letzion. It is less than a mile away from Ben Gurion airport.
