The Rabbi of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Mordechai Shmuel Ashkenazi, released a letter in which he warns of the ‘long wig’ phenomenon. In the letter, which was addressed to hanhalah of Beis Rivkah in Kfar, he warns that long wigs are not proper hair coverings.

Hachossid Reb Aharon Klein was born in 1916 to Rabbi Yitzchok Hakohen and Mrs. Perel Klein, may Hashem avenge their blood, on the 18th of Sivan in Vienna. Both Rabbi and Mrs. Klein were from distinguished families who traced their origins to the illustrious Torah giants, the Chacham Tzvi and the Megale Amukos among others. Reb Yitzchok was a communal figure and known in Vienna for his acts of kindness and generosity.

Rabbi Pitches iPad Product on ‘Shark Tank’
Rabbi Moshe Weiss, a rabbi and entrepreneur from St. Paul, MN, will appear on Shark Tank, an ABC reality TV show, this Friday night. On the show, participants pitch their business ideas and investment opportunities to a team of entrepreneurs and business executives. Weiss pitched his “SoundBender” product, a device designed to amplify an iPad’s speaker without the use of batteries.

There is precious little that we know about the Rebbetzen Chaya Mushka Schneerson, wife of the Rebbe. She personified dignity and modesty. She in her own quite way made a difference in many people’s lives.
This Shabbos, the 22nd of Shevat, is her 25th Yahrtzeit, may the “living take to heart” her good deeds.
