Many are hard at work, putting the final touches on what is sure to be the greatest Lag Baomer Parade yet. From the organizers, to the stage builders, including the talented ‘float’ designers and builders. CrownHeights.info’s photographer captured some of the preparations in photos.
This morning my sister called to ask what she should do about the parade on Sunday. Her children were so excited about it but considering the recent bombings, she was reconsidering whether it was wise to go. Having two little children of my own I didn’t know what to say.

The Lag B’omer Parade of 1983 was going to be extra special. A beautiful regal platform was built for the Rebbe. On his side was a smaller platform for Rabbi JJ Hecht and Rabbi “Uncle” Yossi Goldstein who would emcee the program, and Eli Lipskier’s band.
Rabbi Benny Hershcovich, Shliach in Cabo, Mexico, delivers his brief and hilarious thought on this weeks Parasha, Emor.
