Woman Assaulted and Mugged – 2 Arrested in Buyback Sting
A young Jewish woman was the victim of a violent mugging, two female muggers grabbed her by her hair and threw her to the ground then made off with her iPhone. A non-Jewish couple passing by came to her aid and called the police. A clever message about owing someone money, lured the muggers into a sting and they were arrested.

Shomrim Apprehends Two Shoplifters Following Wild Chase
A Shomrim volunteer and a store manager witnessed a pair of shoplifters fill two backpacks with goods from a Crown Heights supermarket, then leave without paying. After following them for a while a chase ensued and both were apprehended.

In Consulate Labor Dispute, Tourists Instructed ‘Go To Chabad’
Employees’ union of the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced Monday that it is halting virtually all consular services given to Israelis and tourists abroad as part of its labor dispute, which was declared in late March.
