New Mesivta to Open in Monsey
On Motzoei Shabbos, parents of 7th and 8th grade talmidim of Cheder Chabad of Monsey gathered at Tzemach Tzedek Shul, under the leadership of Rabbi Boruch Dov Lesches, to announce a new initiative; namely, the formation of a new Mesivta.
Standing Room Only at KSCVK Women’s Event
Every seat in the house was filled Sunday evening, as hundreds of women turned out in support of Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah. The evening featured an auction viewing, along with a lavish buffet of hot food. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Leah Moyal, the Israeli signing sensation. Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended Monday
Alternate Side Parking Regulations will be suspended citywide today, Monday, February 10, to facilitate snow removal. Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

Andrew Cuomo’s announcement on Thursday that Staten Island-side users of the Verrazano Bridge will be receiving a reduced rate at the tolls, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and City Councilman Vincent J. Gentile revealed on Saturday that they are rolling out legislation of their own calling for fairness and equity in making sure that Brooklyn users of the bridge receive the same cuts.
