Alternate Side Parking Suspended Tuesday, Wednesday

Alternate Side Parking Regulations will be suspended citywide tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, to facilitate snow removal. Alternate Side Parking Regulations will also be suspended on Wednesday, February 12 for Lincoln’s Birthday. Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

Chabad Students to Get Special Deferment of IDF Draft to Study in 770

The Knesset committee working on the new IDF draft bill have decided to add a third special conscription “track” – in addition to the existing “Hesder track” for religious Zionists, and Haredi track for the Ultra-Orthodox young men – the Chabad-Lubavitch track.

Every seat in the house was filled Sunday evening, as hundreds of women turned out in support of Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah. The evening featured an auction viewing, along with a lavish buffet of hot food. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Leah Moyal, the Israeli signing sensation.
