Pair Found Dead in Crown Heights Apartment [Updated]
A man and a woman were found dead in the bedroom of a Crown Heights apartment Sunday evening. The 28-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, whose identities or ethnic background were not released by police, were both discovered unconscious at an apartment on Eastern Parkway near Troy Avenue at about 7:00pm. [Update: couple identified.]

Borough President Wants Toll Break for Brooklynites
On the heels of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s announcement on Thursday that Staten Island-side users of the Verrazano Bridge will be receiving a reduced rate at the tolls, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and City Councilman Vincent J. Gentile revealed on Saturday that they are rolling out legislation of their own calling for fairness and equity in making sure that Brooklyn users of the bridge receive the same cuts.
