The shopping list shared by four Bostonian Chabad shluchos last week included 1,000 pounds of flour, 281 cups of sugar, 4.2 gallons of oil, 120 ounces of yeast. But purchasing mountains of baking ingredients from grocery stores across the tri-state area was just the first step of the ultimate challah extravaganza.

Alternate Side Parking Regulations will be suspended citywide tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, to facilitate snow removal. Alternate Side Parking Regulations will also be suspended on Wednesday, February 12 for Lincoln’s Birthday. Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

Pair Found Dead in Crown Heights Apartment [Updated]
A man and a woman were found dead in the bedroom of a Crown Heights apartment Sunday evening. The 28-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, whose identities or ethnic background were not released by police, were both discovered unconscious at an apartment on Eastern Parkway near Troy Avenue at about 7:00pm. [Update: couple identified.]

Chabad Students to Get Special Deferment of IDF Draft to Study in 770
The Knesset committee working on the new IDF draft bill have decided to add a third special conscription “track” – in addition to the existing “Hesder track” for religious Zionists, and Haredi track for the Ultra-Orthodox young men – the Chabad-Lubavitch track.
