Fallen Trees Block Neighborhood Roads for Hours
Unusually strong winds persisted throughout the evening in parts of Brooklyn including Crown Heights, leaving the streets littered with tree limbs. Carroll Street was blocked off for hours after a large portion of a tree blocked the roadway.

All summer camp programs have been cancelled – the children and their parents must remain at home so that they are near shelters.
