After Treacherous 1,200-Mile Drive, Aid Arrives in Cabo
Police blockades, armed bandits, flooded roads and even a cracked axle couldn’t deter volunteers of Chabad Without Borders from bringing a truck of much-needed emergency supplies to the beleaguered Jewish community in hurricane-ravaged Cabo San Lucas, on the southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
Scotland Mayor Receives Rosh Hashanah Gift Basket
Rabbi Chaim Jacobs, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Scotland, which just a few days ago voted to remain a part of the United Kingdom, presented this morning a gift basket to Provost Alastair Carmichael, Mayor of Eastwood, in honor of Rosh Hashanah.

Chabad on Hand for Jewish Culture Festival
Thousands turned out for the annual Jewish Music and Cultural Festival in Syracuse, NY. On hand were volunteers with Chabad of Syracuse who set up a Shofar workshop and Rosh Hashanah display.
