Albanian Man Arrested for Berlin Murder of Israeli
An Albanian man was arrested in connection with the beating death of a 22-year-old Israeli man on his way to the Chabad-run Pesach Seder in Berlin earlier this week, German police announced Friday.

Acharon Shel Pesach is particularly associated with Moshiach and the future redemption. The Baal Shem Tov instituted the custom of partaking of a “Seudas Moshiach” on the afternoon of the last day of Passover; in addition to the Matzah eaten at “Seudas Moshiach”, the Rebbes of Chabad added the custom of drinking four cups of wine, as in the Seder held on Passover’s first days.

In this week’s edition of Letter & Spirit, we present a letter from the Rebbe in which he deals with the question of whether one should keep two days of Yomtov while in Eretz Yisroel if one resides in Chutz L’Aretz and owns a home or property in Eretz Yisroel. The letter was written through the Rebbe’s trusted secretary Rabbi Nissan Mindel, and was made available by the latter’s son-in-law, Rabbi Sholom Ber Shapiro.
