South Carolina passed a historic bill into law that will make businesses think twice before boycotting Israel. Although the law, signed by the state’s Governor Nikki Haley, does not mention Israel as the recent one passed by the state of Illinois does, it will in fact make the state sever ties with companies that boycott Israel.
Rabbi Yossi Simpson, principal of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva-Crown Street, greeted students from Grades 1- 4 for a special commemoration. For the 12th consecutive year, the yeshiva students memorized thousands of lines of Tanya in memory of a special neshoma, Bat Sheva Kanelsky, OBM, who passed away 65 days after birth, on the 10th of Adar, 2003.
