On graduation day June 2015, Emanuelle Hodara, a native of France, proudly accepted her B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Biomedical Research from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Hodara and her family left France in 2004, when the resurgent anti-Semitism became too unpleasant.
