Guests From Around the World Heading to Grieving Couple’s Wedding

It would have been understandable if Sarah Techiya Litman and Ariel Biegel of Israel decided to have a private, low-key wedding. After all, their original wedding date, Nov. 17, had to be postponed after Sarah’s father and 18-year-old brother, Yaakov and Netanel Litman, were killed by terrorists just days before the wedding while en route to a pre-wedding celebration.

Thursday: Rally at the Ohel

On Thursday, the 14th of Kislev (November 26), there will be a rally at the Ohel for all children ages 5 to 12 featuring a raffle, refreshments and arts & crafts. Buses will leave 770 at 5:00pm and return at 7:45pm. Transportation will cost $3.

Chasidic Teenager Shot in Monroe

Police are looking for the man who shot an 18-year-old Kiryas Joel resident in the back outside a Harriman convenience store tonight. The shooting happened just outside the Quick Chek store located at River and Evergreen roads near the Route 17 and Route 6 interchange just after 9 PM tonight.
