Toronto Cheder Boys Join Teacher on Mivtzoim
In the pouring rain and freezing cold, with snow all around, the 7th grade class of the Cheder Chabad of Toronto joined their teacher Rabbi Chayempour on a Mivtzoim trip. They travelled around the city in a Mitzvah tank and distributed Chanukah guides and Menorahs – and even got some people to put on Tefilin.
Public Menorah in Mexico Vandalized
On Sunday, the first day of Chanukah, at around 9:00am, a public Menorah erected by local Chabad Shliach Rabbi Mendel Goldberg on the main boardwalk of Playa del Carmen, Mexico, was found vandalized and broken into pieces.

For the second year in a row, U.S military service members stationed around the world will join together virtually to celebrate Chanukah via live video broadcast tonight, Wednesday evening.
Putin: Jewish Nation Exists Because it Keeps Torah

I hope that our joint efforts will continue to thrive and progress.” These were the wishes of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar at a private audience that was granted in honor of Chanuka at the Kremlin office in Moscow.
