Hate Crime Arrest Made After Man With Knife Threatens To Kill Jews in Crown Heights
Bunch-O-Bagels attracted an unwanted customer Wednesday evening, with the NYPD making a Hate Crime arrest after a man threatened a man with a knife saying “Heil Hitler, f*** you I’ll kill all you Jews”.
Dr. Bernard Lown (seen here in 1968) was a world-renowned Harvard cardiologist, pioneer of the direct-current defibrillator for cardiac resuscitation and in 1985 accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. When the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, had a heart attack in 1977, Lown joined his students Dr. Ira Weiss and Dr. Louis Teichholz in treating the Rebbe.
