Built by Lubavitch, for Lubavitch: The Expansion of Tomchei Temimim
When Lubavitcher Yeshiva embarked on its historic expansion, it was members of the Lubavitch community who helped turn the vision into reality.
There is something especially meaningful about a Yeshiva being built by the very community it serves.
As Lubavitcher Yeshiva undertook its remarkable expansion, adding tens of thousands of square feet of classrooms, learning spaces, recreational facilities and more, something special was taking place behind the scenes.
The overwhelming majority of the contractors involved in the project were Lubavitchers themselves. Crown Heights residents, alumni, parents and members of the Tomchei Temimim family.
These were not simply contractors arriving at another construction site. Many had once walked the halls of Tomchei Temimim as young Talmidim. Others have children or grandchildren learning in the Yeshiva today.
For them, helping build the next chapter of Lubavitcher Yeshiva was something personal.
In record time, a vision became reality. New floors rose, classrooms took shape, and a beautiful new building opened its doors to hundreds of young Talmidim.
Lubavitcher Yeshiva thanks the contractors. Each brought their own expertise and dedication to a project that will serve generations of Temimim for years to come.

The story of this expansion is not only about how quickly a building was completed or how much the Yeshiva has grown. It is a story of a community building its own future.
When Lubavitch builds for Lubavitch, it is more than construction. It is an investment in the next generation of Chassidim.
As Lubavitcher Yeshiva continues its Chodorom campaign, the community is invited to take part in this remarkable growth and help Tomchei Temimim continue reaching higher.
