With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mr. Aharon Shepherd, OBM, longtime member of the Jewish community of Golders Green, London, and a lifelong admirer of the Rebbe and friend of Lubavitch, among whose ranks are several of his descendants.

This past week, Camp Gan Yisroel-Montreal had an amazing and fun Talent Night, where the campers and staff were treated to a dazzling display of raw talent performed by their fellow campers and staff, ranging from singing to acrobatics, and from magic to comedy.

Being prominent members of their communities, they were well connected and knew most of the other wealthy individuals in the region. One looked to the other, as if asking, who is this individual?
This week, as we read in the Haftara ‘Nachamu’ following Tisha B’av, we present a letter from the Rebbe on bereavement and how to accept G-d’s judgment. The letter, written originally in English, is from the archives of the Rebbe’s personal trusted secretary, Rabbi Nissan Mindel.
CTeen’s second annual Winter Camp recently completed a lively and engaging five-day camp for boys in S. Paulo, Brazil. The program, which was overseen by Merkos’ Spanish took place over five days. The thirty-two teens—most of whom arrived from Colombia, Brazil, and Argentina—were treated to some of Brazil’s best and most exciting locations in true CTeen manner with chayus and inspiration.
