Seven Cars Involved In Crash on New York Ave In Crown Heights
Seven vehicles were involved in a large crash that spread crumpled up cars and debris across an entire Crown Heights block Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 10:15pm on New York Ave between East New York Ave and Lefferts Ave in Crown Heights.

Obituary: Mendel Drizin, 83, Helped Build Crown Heights Physically and Spiritually
The Crown Heights Jewish community was in the middle of celebrating the strangest Passover in its history. Schools had long been locked, synagogues were shuttered and Seders had no guests. Yet the community shone bright with countless acts of caring, kindness and love. Much credit for helping to create that sense of community, say friends and family, goes to Mendel Drizin, who passed away on the third day of Passover, April 13, after battling the coronavirus. He was 83 years old.

Second Group of Crown Heights Plasma Donors
Thirty nine Crown heights residents spent the day donating plasma to help COVID-19 patients in Critical condition. The group made their way to New York Blood Center in New Brunswick, NJ, where they had their blood, rich with COVID-19 antibodies, cycled through a machine and plasma extracted.
