Weekly Letter: Peace and Harmony in the Face of Differing Opinions

In connection with the topic of strife as we see in this week’s parsha – of Korach and his group – we share a letter from the Rebbe in which he comments and advises on maintaining peace and harmony in the face of differing opinions. Where a group of people do not see eye to eye with each other, yet share a common goal, in order to insure success it is critical for them to settle differences in a peaceful way. For – “Peace is the vessel containing G-d’s blessing.”

New Hands-on Alef-Beis Curriculum

During the height of the pandemic, Bring It Home offered a hands-on, all inclusive Judaic curriculum geared for 3-5 year olds. Bring It Home sent out weekly packages with daily lesson plans and activities for Parsha, Yahadus, and Alef-Bais. The founders are experienced educators, who wanted to share their tried and true techniques with the public during this crisis.

Harav Avraham Osdoba, Morah D’asro and Member of the Beis Din Tzedek of Crown Heights, spent a few minutes at an outdoor Minyan on Sterling Street Thursday to hear Kriya and learn. Rabbi Osdoba has remained at home these past few months, and was unable to join minyanim due to COVID-19.

Friends Honor Miriam Shmueli A”H

Since beloved friend, morah, and doula Miriam Shmueli, a”h passed away on Iyar 8, a group of her friends have been working non-stop to keep her memory continuing to inspire and encourage others to grow in their learning, davening, mitzvos, and connection to the Rebbe.
