A car wreck Thursday night in Crown Heights left two cars totaled after a car blew a red and got clipped by another vehicle. Thankfully there were no serious injuries reported, and the driver stayed on scene until the police arrived.
While the Rebbe sent shluchim all over the world, everyone recalls the three times in 5636-7-8 (1976-7-8) when he sent groups of shluchim to Eretz Yisroel, that was something special. The final group consisted of eight couples and eight bochurim. Last week I received a synopsis of what he said. I believe that we all can take those words to heart, so I am posting it as an additional preparation to Yud Shevat.

For Rabbi Mordechai Shraga Schonfeld, known as Fabian in English, who passed away last month at the age of 97, blending these two approaches to Judaism wasn’t a balancing act; it was simply his way of life.
