Cheder Levi Yitzchok seeks an experienced and passionate kodesh educator to assume a Full Time leadership and teaching role with our new Year 9 pre-Mesivta program in Melbourne, Australia.


Cheder Levi Yitzchok is a Chabad Lubavitch registered school (Primary and Secondary), dedicated to the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Through a traditional Kodesh curriculum, integrated with a general studies program, the school seeks to imbue students with Yiras Shamayim, Hiskashrus to the Rebbe and an altruistic mindset. In a warm, happy and focused environment, we empower our students to be moral contributors to society, to develop a lifelong passion for learning and to be proudly at ease with their cultural identity.


The Head of Year 9 reports to the Principal of the School. The position will attract a salary and teaching load as determined through discussion on appointment.

Chabad Shliach Sworn in As Colorado National Guard Chaplain

Standing at attention and dressed in tan military fatigues, Rabbi Yerachmiel Gorelik was sworn in as a Captain in the Colorado National Guard by Gov. Jared Polis Friday, Oct. 2, at Colorado State University. Gorelik will serve as a Chaplain for the guard, offering spiritual guidance to service members.

Kosher or not, this sukkah by Chabad Chossid Michoel Moskovski is definitely creative, and downright scary. The Sukkah, which in past years brought backlash when built in front of the apartment building, was built by Moskovski hanging from his sixth floor balcony. A word to the wise, don’t try this at home.
