The last few parshios teach about the construction of the mishkan – and in the present parsha we are reminded about the observance of Shabbos and told that however important the construction of the mishkan is – we may not desecrate the Shabbos to build it. We present a letter of the Rebbe about the importance of Shabbos observance – even when it is very difficult to do so when it conflicts with one’s very successful career.

Schools are closing, hoarding has started, and the panic is is growing at a startling rate. So what actually is Coronavirus? What is it we are so afraid of? What is being done to prevent it?
Governor Andrew Cuomo enacted additional emergency measures today in an effort to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. Starting Friday at 5:00pm, any gatherings off 500 people or more will no longer be permitted in New York State.

The education system is expected to announce Thursday a complete shutdown of schools and kindergartens following a dramatic increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Israel. The shutdown would last until after Passover.
